My love for matcha has always extended beyond just the taste. As a designer, I saw an opportunity to infuse this passion into a fun, vibrant brand that would resonate with a younger audience. While many matcha brands opt for minimalist aesthetics, I wanted to create something that would instantly catch the eye of Gen Z – a brand that speaks their language, brimming with color, playful typography, and energy.
Matcha Moments is a passion project that allowed me to explore branding and packaging design for a product that is increasingly becoming popular in Gen-Z. This case study delves into the conceptualization to execution of a brand that stands out on the shelves and captures the hearts of a new generation of matcha lovers.
